The Earthquake Network research project (https://www.sismo.app) focuses on developing a smartphone-based earthquake early warning system. By utilizing the accelerometer present in smartphones, the app can detect earthquakes in real-time and provide advance alerts to the population.

The app immediately alerts users who have it installed upon detecting an earthquake. This is particularly beneficial as it allows for timely warning and response before the damaging waves of the earthquake reach areas further away.  <li>The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of renewal will be identified</li>
 <li>Users can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal through their Account Settings after purchase</li>
 <li>If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon the purchase of a subscription</li>
